What to do on your Mid Week Short Break
Ideas for your short trip away
For some people, being able to spend a few days at a country cottage surrounded by peace and fresh air is all they require. Just the thought of being curled up with a good book, relaxing by an open fire, taking country walks and meals down at the pub sounds perfect.
For others it may involve:
-
a spa and pampering treatments
-
tennis, a swimming pool, or other sports
-
courses of some kind such as art lessons, cookery lessons, riding lessons, dancing lessons
-
hunting, shooting, fishing or other sports
-
hill walking, bird watching, cycling, surfing
-
sightseeing and eating out at gourmet restaurants
-
a City Break to one of Britain's or Ireland's large cities.
The best kind of holiday is one where you are able to do all the things you enjoy.
All these activities are possible on a mid week short break.
Many of us are time poor; life is centred around work and short breaks are all the time we can spare for a holiday. Sometimes it is better to go on holiday, have a good time and leave before you even get a glimpse of boredom or thinking 'what else can I do?'. Short breaks are often the most rewarding option.
So many of us are choosing to enjoy a series of short breaks rather than long holidays for maximum benefit.
